Our Story
Founded in 2019 in Barcelona, Barlancer was born out of a simple observation: despite the proliferation of productivity tools, professionals were still struggling to effectively manage their most valuable resource – time.
Our founder, Miguel Fernandez, experienced this firsthand while running a digital agency. Despite using various project management tools, his team was consistently struggling with time estimation, tracking, and work-life balance. Frustrated by the lack of integrated solutions that addressed the human side of time management, Miguel assembled a team of developers, designers, and productivity experts to create what would become Barlancer.
The name "Barlancer" represents our core philosophy – balancing time like a skilled bartender balances ingredients to create the perfect cocktail. Each element must be precisely measured, properly mixed, and artfully combined to create a harmonious result.
What began as an internal tool for a small agency has grown into Spain's leading time planning and tracking platform, serving thousands of professionals and organizations across Europe and beyond.
